T2 High Performance Training was founded in 2017 by Tina Ciraulo.  Their mission is to assist young athletes train physically to meet and exceed their potential. This can be accomplished one-on-one or in a group setting during various camps.  Team training is also available. In addition to the physical training, T2 offers individual advising and educating for those looking to advance further in sport of hockey.

A Bit About Me

Tina was born into hockey.  Her father, Bill Ciraulo has over 40 years of experience coaching, scouting, and managing hockey players.  He also played 3 years with the SOJHL Detroit Junior Red Wings and 4 years in the IHL.  Her younger brother Anthony played for University of Michigan.  After graduating, he played semi-pro in the US and on various World Pro teams.  Anthony also followed his father's footsteps coaching for many years.

 

Tina began figure skating at the age of 6 and her parents quickly realized she was meant for hockey.  By the age of 7, she began playing boys hockey.  She remained playing on various boys teams until she was 16, switching to girls hockey until graduation.  Tina received a 4-year scholarship to play hockey for St. Cloud State University, an NCAA D1 college in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  During her time with the Huskies, she was Assistant Captain her junior year, Captain her senior year.  Graduating in 2005, Tina received her BS in Recreation and Sports Management.

Tina headed to Switzerland after graduating and played womens pro hockey for a year.  She returned to the states and continued to play womens hockey at its highest level for the next 15 years.  During this time, she coached at various levels, began training teams, and running camps throughout the US and Europe, on and off the ice focusing on development.  Tina has worked closely with coaches of all levels of womens college hockey across the country.

In 2016, Tina coached and won the Peewee Quebec Tournament and two years later, she coached the first US girls' team in the tournament.  For 11 years, she coached in the Worlds Selects Girls Tournament and is a 7-time World Selects Champion and 3-time runner-up.  She held the position of Head Coach for the U19 Girls Little Caesars AAA team from 2018-20 where she developed more than half her players to move on to college level athletes.

Currently, Tina is an Assistant Coach & Strength Coach for the Metro Jets Junior hockey club in the USPHL. In the 2020/21 season, she became the first woman to win a Junior hockey game in history as a Head Coach.  The team went on to become the Midwest division champions and the Great Lakes division champions.

JAKE HOWIE

Instructor/Coach

Jake is a native of Grand Blanc, Michigan and played all his youth hockey in the Metro Detroit area. Following his youth hockey Jake went on to play 4 years of Jr Hockey in both the NA3HL and NAHL (Chicago Hitmen, Flint Jr Generals, Minot Minotauros). He then attended Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin where he played 4 years of NCAA hockey and was a Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Double Major. Following his time in college, Jake went on to play parts of three seasons professionally with the Columbus River Dragons and Pensacola Ice Flyers. After his playing career, Jake took to coaching, returning to the Minot Minotauros but this time as the Assistant Coach. Jake has also been a head coach in the USPHL for Hudson Havoc, and currently is the Associate/Video Coach of the Metro Jets in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

ERIN McARDLE

Instructor

Erin began playing on boys hockey teams at a very young age.  At the age of 12, she began playing AAA hockey for Little Caesars, Belle Tire, and CYA.  Erin played 5 years at Plattsburgh State University and served as Captain for 3 years.  In the 2018-19 season, her team won the NCAA National Championship.  She graduated with a double major in Human Development and Family Relations and Psychology.

TAYLOR GIRARD

Head Instructor/Coach

Taylor has spent the majority of her life playing hockey.  For the past 20 years,  she played on various boys teams before joining the girls Honeybaked AAA team.  She continued on this team through high school.  After graduation, she played Division 1 hockey at Lindenwood University before transferring to Quinnipiac University.  Taylor received her BS in Health Sciences.  In 2021, she was the #1 overall draft pick for the NWHL (now the PH) and is currently playing for the Connecticut Whale.

Cristian Adragna

Instructor

Cristian Adragna played hockey in Michigan for most of his life. Playing with OJG AA for 3 years then playing on De La Salle his junior year in high school serving as an assistant captain. His senior year in high school he played for Honeybaked AAA hockey. From there Cristian spent his next 2 seasons playing for the Metro Jets in the USPHL serving as an assistant captain under coach Tina in the his final season. Cristian now plays NCAA hockey at Chatham University out in Pittsburgh, PA.
